Holiday program at community centre
The Peninsula Community Centre at McMasters Rd, Woy Woy, has a program of activities underway for the July school holidays.
The Vacation Care program for primary school children includes bike riding at Homebush Bay, horse riding, and kite making in Centennial Park.
The Community Centre is also hosting a program called Innovative Kids.
This provides a combination of dance, drama, craft and sports, according to principal teach Ms Samantha Webster.
"Children are allowed to explore their imagination in a non-competitive, safe and exciting environment and will see improvements in their co-ordination, fitness, self-esteem and interactive skills," Ms Webster said.
The program is designed for children aged six to 12 years and runs from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday in the second week of the July school holidays.
