Median strip at intersection

Gosford Council has decided to build a central concrete median in Wards Hill Rd at its intersection with The Scenic Rd.

The NSW Police Service asked that council consider placing a concrete island on Wards Hill Rd and The Scenic Rd, Killcare.

At a meeting held on March 1 council adopted a traffic committee recommendation that the matter be deferred to allow a site inspection.

A site inspection indicated that the provision of a central concrete median in Wards Hill Rd at its intersection with The Scenic Rd was the appropriate treatment to control turning movements at this intersection.
