Resort openings are anticipated
Ettalong Beach is set to see two much-anticipated openings over the next two months: that of the Outrigger Ettalong Beach Resort and the opening of the Ettalong Beach Club's main entrance.
Since opening in December, members and guests visiting the club have had to use a temporary entrance located near Tallow Beach Terrace.
Unavoidable delays in construction have put back the opening for up to four weeks, making the latest date somewhere in mid-June.
The Outrigger Resort, located above Ettalong Beach Club, consists of 236 serviced apartments and is the largest tourism investment on the Central Coast since the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza at Terrigal.
"The resort is sure to attract visitors from all over Australia and the world to our beautiful town, helping out our local economy in terms of income and jobs," according to the club's newsletter
"We realise the importance of our permanent entry and reception to many of our members and are working with developers to ensure the more convenient entrance is up and running as soon as possible."
