Parking will stay

Gosford Council has decided against placing No Parking restrictions on Castle Circuit, Umina.

Resident Mr David Swinfield recently asked council to install parking restrictions on Castle Circuit.

Mr Swinfield stated that when cars were parked on both sides of Castle Circuit it was difficult for two cars to pass.

Council's traffic committee, following a site inspection, stated that while Castle Circuit was narrow, it carried no through traffic and speed in the area was likely to be low.

The committee further stated that there were numerous driveways for drivers to move aside and allow approaching vehicles to pass.

The committee recommended that no action be taken.
