Survival course for mothers

A Women's Survival Course for mothers of children aged up to 18 months is being held over six weeks at Umina Uniting Church Community Centre from August 19.

The "Women's survival course" will run Thursdays from 10 am to 12.30pm.

It focuses on how to be assertive and take care of self-esteem.

It is a group that focuses on the challenges faced by mothers.

The group's discussions will include communication skills, how to be assertive instead of passive aggressive, how to say no and learning to feel good about yourself.

This course is free with childcare provided.
