Artists featured at Erina

Two Pearl Beach artists, Marijke Greenway and Janet Leigh, are featured in an exhibition at The Erina Space, Erina Fair.

Marijke's exhibition "Two Times Ten" features angophoras, their contorted branches and smooth bark in hues of red, salmon pink grey set in her backyard.

It also featured boats, their colour dancing on little waves.

The reflections seen before the boats are noticed and painted in before the tide turns.

Ms Leigh's exhibition "Wildflowers" takes the apparent randomness of nature as an excuse to use tools that cannot be too accurately wielded.

She works the paint where it falls, thus allowing the energy of nature to come through.
