Call to move depot

Residents living near the Woy Woy Council Depot in Gallipoli Ave have asked Gosford Council to move the depot.

The Council has received a petition, with 10 signatures asking that the Council Truck Depot be totally removed and relocated outside residential areas by August 30 this year.

The petitioners cited extreme noise, diesel fuel fumes and dust pollution as justification for the move.

The petitioners asked to be included in the decision-making process about what would be built in the depot's place.
