Day for diabetes

St John the Baptist School recently held a fundraising event for diabetes research.

The school community held an awareness day about diabetes, a disease affecting all ages in the community.

A barbecue was held, with donations accepted for diabetes research.

"Almost $750 dollars was raised and we would like to thank all involved for organising this fun and informative day," said St John the Baptist P&F publicity officer, Ms Meredith Sproule.
