New school uniform introduced
A new school uniform will be introduced for kindergarten students at Woy Woy Public School next year.
It will not be compulsory for other students to wear the new uniform until 2028, meaning that any student in Year 4 and above will be able to complete their schooling in their existing uniforms.
Both old and new options will be available for purchase by Year 1 to Year 6 students.
The new shirt is 60 per cent cotton and 40 per cent polyester, where the current uniform is 100 per cent polyester.
Stock will be available locally from an Australian company with a delivery time of seven to 10 days.
New uniform options will be available for viewing from the start of term three.
These include shirt, dress, male and female pants, shorts, jacket and jumpers.
