Rotary is 'not just volunteering'
The genuine friendships and meaningful connections formed through Rotary service create bonds that extend far beyond Rotary meetings, according to Rotary Brisbane Water membership director Mr Mitchell Gordon.
This was evident when club member Ms Monica Agius and public image director Ms Di Bartok recently celebrated Christmas in July together, he said.
"When you join Rotary, you're not just volunteering," said Mr Gordon.
"You're becoming part of a community that supports each other while making a real difference in the lives of others."
