Double header at next folk club concert
The next concert of the Troubadour Folk Club will feature the duo Cap in Hand and singer-songwriter Craig Sinclair.
It will be held from 7pm on Saturday, August 24, at the Everglades Country Club.
Club president Mr Michael Fine described the night as featuring "two incredible string bands, with finger-style guitars, gorgeous fiddle, double bass, a mandocello and fabulous vocal harmonies".
He said the Cap in Hand duo of Nigel "Muddy" Walters and Dave "Fingers" Spira shared a love of the subtle tones and contrasting dynamics of a wide variety of acoustic instruments.
He said they blended these to produce an enchanting mix of songs and tunes.
He said Craig Sinclair was bred in the open expanses of Western Australia.
"He delighted audiences across the state for years with his homespun songs, beautifully delivered harmonies and acoustic textures.
"He plays some great self-composed numbers along with classic blues and folk with soul from around the globe.
