Bowls carnival
Umina Beach Women's Bowling Club held its 14th annual Kingfisher Carnival from July 25 to 27.
The event attracted 34 teams of four from all over Sydney and the Central Coast.
Everglades Ladies Club won the first prize of $1000, followed by Umina with a prize of $800, Terrigal with $600 and a second Umina team came in fourth winning $400.
The Everglades winning team comprised Judy King, who substituted for Sandra Medhurst on two of the days, Penny McLeod, Sue O'Connor and skip Margaret Smith.
