Tree removal

Gosford Council's director Corporate Services Mr Nic Pasternatsky has responded to a question on notice by Cr Terri Latella regarding why a healthy mature native tree was removed from Baldwin Close, Woy Woy.

Mr Pasternatsky said the tree was located on the footpath adjacent to the property at Baldwin Close and was interfering with property access and had been pruned heavily under the wires.

Council's public tree assessment officer undertook an inspection of the tree and recommended removal and stump grinding.
