Petition calls for drain
Gosford Council has received a petition with 29 signatures from residents of Shephard St, Umina.
The residents requested funding be provided for extra drainage between Shephard St and Glenn St.
The petition stated that the current drain from Shephard St could not cope with heavy rain, causing the roads to flood and resulting in road closures.
The residents told the council that measures taken to date had been ineffective.
