Ferry accident
An investigation is underway following an incident involving a ferry and small boat near Ettalong on Monday, August 1.
A twin-hulled passenger ferry and a small boat collided about 500 metres from the beach at about 6.30pm.
No-one sustained serious injury but five people, including a child, were rescued from the water and transferred on the ferry to a wharf area.
An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
