School extensions progress

Progress is being made with the extension of the Umina Public School site, according to principal Mr John Blair.

The six houses adjoining the school in Melbourne Ave and Sydney Ave will soon be demolished and plans are currently being prepared for the new school building.

"Work is expected to begin next year and all signs point to completion of the project sooner rather than later," Mr Blair said.
