Sixth CWA exhibition

The Country Women's Association Umina branch will hold its sixth annual art exhibition during September.

Ms Judith Hoste of Amber Arts Studio and Gallery, along with her students, will be holding the event on Saturday, September 24, from 11am to 3pm.

The official opening will be conducted by Member for Peats Ms Marie Andrews at 1pm.

Ms Hoste is an award winning artist with recent awards including first prize in the Open Central Coast Inspired Work section of last year's Grandma Moses Art Prize.

She has been teaching for 20 years and has had many of her students win art competitions with three winning the novice section of the Grandma Moses Competition.

The exhibition will be held at the Umina CWA Hall on the corner of West St and Sydney Ave, Umina.

Admission is $7 which includes a chicken sandwich and a glass of champagne.
