Painting of local business selected for Gosford exhibition
A painting of the owners of a local patisserie has been selected for 2024 Gosford Art Prize exhibition, which opened on Friday, August 23.
The painting by Ms Yvette Pritchard of Woy Woy is entitled "Ron and Helga - Bremen Patisserie, Umina".
"It portrays Ron and Helga Bruns in the bakery of their Patisserie in West St, Umina, a business they have run there for 34 years," said Ms Pritchard.
"The painting did not win any awards, but is one of 135 selected out of 900 entries.
"I have given the work to Ron as a 70th birthday gift."
The exhibition runs till October 20 at the Gosford Regional Gallery, in Webb St, East Gosford.
