Youth Yarn Up disco and barbecue at Mingaletta
Mingaletta will hold a free Youth Yarn Up RUOK Day Disco and barbecue at its Umina hall from 4pm to 6.30pm on September 12.
The professionally-run disco for the centre's young people, aged 10 to 17 years, will include a lucky door prize, "goodie bag" on arrival and interactive games.
Staff from counselling service Interrelate will cook the barbecue from 4pm, where parents and members will be welcomed to yarn up, as the hall is handed over to the young people to have some supervised fun.
All are welcome to this inclusive event to promote this year's theme "Ask RUOK? Any day".

The Mingaletta Youth Yarn Up group is held every Thursday from 3.30pm at Mingaletta and offers free activities, peer-to-peer support and information sharing.
Registered Mingaletta Youth Yarn Up members also benefit from a free local gym 10-week program, with limited spots available.
