Ceramic sculpture exhibition held in Pearl Beach

An exhibition of ceramic sculpture will be held at the Pink Onion Sculpture Garden in Pearl Beach over next weekend, September 7 and 8.

The "Unreal Flowers" exhibition open between the hours of 10am and 4pm will feature the works of Gaby Porter, Jan Hohne, Maggs, Di Swalwell and Mary V.

Sculpture garden owner Ms Gaby Porter said she and Mr John Haymes had installed a piano three years ago and built a shelter for it in front of the Pink Onion Sculpture Garden. "Passers by are welcome to play the piano and wander through the sculpture garden," she said.

The garden has more than 50 sculptures created by Gaby over the years.

"This event is special with contributions from other artists.

"If you haven't visited the Piano Palace and Pink Onion Sculpture Garden, this could be your opportunity," she said.

The Pink Onion Sculpture Garden can be found at 61 Crystal Ave, Pearl Beach.
