Collaborative effort to plant native trees
Science staff and students at Brisbane Water Secondary Woy Woy campus have collaborated with the local Grow Urban Shade Trees group to plant native trees on the Peninsula.
Planting took place at The Runway Park, in Trafalgar Ave, Woy Woy.
"It will add extra shade, beauty and habitat to Park," said tree group member Ms Jen Wilder.
"The afternoon was a huge success.
"This was a small starter project that both the school and GUST hope will kick-start many more local tree planting projects together in the future," she said.
