New surf boat launched
The Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving Club has recently launched and christened a new surf boat.
It is the second funded with a grant from the Ettalong Diggers club.
Ettalong Diggers chairman Mr John Wood officiated at the toast, with the obligatory bottle of champagne broken over the bow.
"We are grateful that these boats will assist the club in keeping our community safe on the beach," said Diggers marketing manager Ms Kim Cole.
"We are looking forward to continuing our strong partnership with Ocean Beach Surf Club for many years to come."
