Women's Minor Pairs championships played
The final of the Umina Beach Women's Bowls Club's 2023-24 Minor Pairs Championship was played on Monday, April 24.
Winners were Christine Gentle and Renette Burgess, who defeated Barbara Schultz and Jan Ellery.
"It was a very close game with both teams playing lovely bowls," said website editor Ms Lesley Swales.
"Barbara and Jan led for most of the game until the11th end when they were all level at 10 apiece.
"Chris and Renette then won the next end and continued to maintain the lead."
