Fishing club donates to Vietnam veterans
The local Vietnam Veterans sub-branch has accepted a donation of $718 from a Umina fishing club on Friday, May 21.
Vietnam Veterans Peacekeepers and Peacemakers Association of Australia Central Coast sub-branch received the money from the Ocean Beach Hotel Fishing Club.
Sub-branch president Mr Alan Ball accepted the donation from fishing club captain Mr X X in front of the fishing club's board at the hotel.
"The donation will be used to assist health and welfare programs for the veterans and their families," Mr Ball said.
