Horses visit in place of Cup celebrations
Two horses have joined have joined Bailey the pet therapy beagle to visit residents at an aged care home in Umina.
Coronavirus restrictions prevented the residents at Peninsula VIllage from being able to have their usual Melbourne Cup celebrations.
Instead, horses Wellington and Primrose joined Bailey as they roamed both outdoor and indoor areas.
''Their visit evoked memories of growing up on the farm, milk being delivered by horse and cart, and riding to school," said Peninsula Villages chief executive Mr Shane Neaves.
