New gym building opens at Umina

The construction of a new gym in Umina and its associated car parking at has been completed.

Construction began in February at Club Umina and proceeded despite lockdowns and restrictions associated with the coronavirus pandemic.

Club Umina management has predicted the new facility will positively impact not just upon the club, but the local community as well.

The new gym was built on the site of the old No. 3 tifdwarf green at Umina Beach Bowling Club at a cost of $2 million.

First Class Fitness has moved from Oscar St to operate the facility which is now open.
