Knitting hot water bottle covers

The Umina Beach branch of the Country Women's Association has had a guest speaker from Aussie Knitters for War-Affected Kids.

Speaker Ms Jennifer Loupis told branch members that children in war-torn areas were often in camps in the snow in winter without heating and other facilities.

Pictured are branch members with hot water bottle covers they have knitted, to be sent in a container along with clothes for the children.
