Local business vital in unprecedented times, says MP

Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch is calling on people to think local when they head out shopping.

"We need to start thinking of our main streets as our very own high street full of all the products we need and want," she said.

"This period has been really tough for small businesses on the Peninsula and it is so important we stand by them and show our support, with the Covid-19 pandemic changing the way they do business to accommodate new requirements.

"Your local main street will be able to provide you with enough space to maintain social distancing and give you amazing products you deserve, so it's really a win-win situation"

"These unprecedented times have made us appreciate just how vital local businesses are," Ms Tesch said.
