Rotary club elects new president
Mr Russell Grove has been elected as the president of the Rotary Club of Woy Woy, following the resignation of president Ms Jayne Mote.
Mr Grove has previously served in the same role during 2017-18.
"As your newly elected president, I extend on your behalf to Jayne Mote thanks for her efforts in the first half of this Rotary year," Mr Grove said.
"We need to be hitting the ground running in the New Year and all members are encouraged to participate and enjoy some fellowship while making a difference.
"We have filled vacancies on the board and I am sure all members are grateful to their fellow members being prepared to step up and make that extra effort in the cause of Service Above Self," he said.
"We are looking for volunteers, three in total, to form our programme committee.
"While it is an important aspect of a well-ordered club, it is not too onerous when shared among three with input from all club members."
Mr Grove said: "The greatest thing about Rotary is that it is a team effort.
"All wisdom and knowledge doesn't rest in one person," Mr Grove said.
