Surf club to hold annual art fundraiser

Killcare Surf Life Saving Club's annual fundraiser, Art By The Sea, will return in December.

The event will open with a cocktail evening at the club from 6pm on December 27.

The exhibition will then be open daily from December 28 to January 6, between 10am-3pm.

"The art show is the main charity fundraising event for the Killcare Surf Club," said coordinator Ms Christina Jensen.

This year's collection will feature works from local artists, including Meg Lewer, Joseph Rolella, Karen Bloomfield, Lisa Sanasi, Sandy James, Trena Lowe, Dave Charles, Colin Tapping, Bronwyn Van De Graaff, Naomi Veitch, Robyn Pedley, Debbie Mackinnon, Robyn Sutcliffe, Marisa Pasicenik Ross, Paul Haggith and Terry Baker.

"The club does an amazing job patrolling our beaches and keeping the public safe at the beach," Ms Jensen said.

"Please support our great Surf Life Saving Club."

Bookings for opening night are essential.
