CWA receives $14,000 for drought relief
A local Country Women's Association branch has been donated more than $14,000 to go towards the association's drought relief appeal.
Donations were made to the Woy Woy branch by the Freemasons on the Central Coast and the Central Coast Bulldogs Masters Rugby League team.
"We were so grateful to be presented with two cheques, totalling $14,200 which will go directly to Country Women's Association of NSW Drought Relief," said branch president Ms Jane Bowtell.
"We were so grateful to be contacted by the men of The Central Coast Lodge 2001 to accept these cheques on behalf of the NSW Association.
"We know that they will definitely go a long way in helping those who need it most in rural communities across Australia," Ms Bowtell said.
