Busy weeks at Pretty Beach

Pretty Beach Public School is preparing for a busy few weeks, according to principal, Ms Deborah Callendar.

"We often celebrate the academic success of students in class and school programs and we regularly express pride in our student's behaviour, values and attitudes," Ms Callendar said.

"On top of our current school commitments, in an already busy Term 4, the past fortnight has seen our students attend swimming programs, begin gymnastics lessons, continue community leadership initiatives, attend a community mass service, lead and participate in a Remembrance Day Assembly and finalise sponsorship for our school's major fundraiser for 2018.

"It's this dedicated, enthusiastic, team effort that makes our school community such a great place to be," she said.

"The upcoming fortnight is also jam-packed with an abundance of exciting events.

"Make sure you check the school website to remain informed and organised for these activities," Ms Callendar said.

Events planned include: Selective high school applications, student leadership presentations and elections, 2019 Kindergarten Orientation, Year 6 Mini Fete, Surf Fun Day, swim programs and a Scope IT program.
