Pretty Beach wins through to State goalball titles
Goalball teams from Pretty Beach Public School will compete in the state championships after an exceptional performance at regionals.
"On Monday, June 18, 12 students represented Pretty Beach Public School at regionals held at Newcastle University," said principal Ms Deborah Callendar.
"Our students represented the school with outstanding skill and sportsmanship.
"They played extremely well.
"Our Year 6 team finished second and our Year 3/4 team finished first overall.
"Both teams have made it through to the later this year," Ms Callendar said.
Goalball is a sport originally designed for people with vision impairment.
