Reading tutors wanted
Empire Bay Public School is calling for community members who are interested in being involved in the Program to Aid Literacy program and tutor students at the school.
Volunteers will undergo training from St John NSW to assist children in improving their literacy skills.
The training program will be held over four days and will learn the latest teaching techniques in an informative session.
Empire Bay Public School hopes to have enough tutors to support all students within the school who require one on one tutor assistance with their reading.
Volunteers are needed anytime between Monday and Friday.
With inquiries, contact Kim on 4369 1796.
