Business group holds cabaret
The Ettalong Beach Business Group will present an evening of cabaret and jazz at the Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort on Friday, November 13.
Group publicity officer Mr Richard Berntsen said the event would be a fun and entertaining night of dynamic song and dance in a fabulous cabaret setting.
"We are looking to promote the active senior segment of our community in what should be a tremendous and energetic performance by local Central Coast talent," Mr Berntsen said.
"One of the group's members George Williams has been involved with putting on entertainment for years, and he and his wife saw an opportunity to showcase this local talent here in Ettalong.
"The dinner and show will feature performances from The Chorus Girls, Toni Williams, Angela Murphy, Heather Wooten and a special appearance by Mama Morton, Ashley Toole and Adam Sutherland."
"The Ettalong Beach Business Group will receive a small remuneration and this will go towards the many events and projects we have planned for Ettalong Beach including; a web site to highlight businesses and activities at Ettalong; Christmas decorations for the town centre; future community clean-ups; and the upcoming Brisbane Water Regatta festival in March next year.
"There is a lot that we are working on and all of it requires some dollars to get done, and a lot of devotion from the members of the group and the community that use their time to make a local difference.
"This is cabaret entertainment at its best in a fun and intimate venue."
Tickets are available at That Swimwear Place on Oceanview Rd and Del's Let's Do Lunch at the Rocks Arcade, Ettalong Beach.
