Businesses named as finalists
A number of Peninsula businesses have been named finalists in this year's Central Coast Business Achiever Awards.
Ettalong Beachside Pie Shop has been nominated in the cafe/coffee shop category of the competition, while Mum's Seafood Kitchen in Umina has been accepted as a finalist in the Casual Dining award.
The Peninsula Women's Health Centre in Woy Woy has been accepted for the Not-for-profit community service award and Cinema Paradiso in Ettalong for Best Entertainment Venue on the Central Coast.
Meanwhile Peninsula Yoga Centre in Woy Woy has been nominated under the Fitness Retail and Services category, while Beach Blossums in Ettalong Beach has been accepted as an entry for Best Florist.
The Best Food Trade has attracted many nominations including Umina Bakery and Yes Please Meats in Woy Woy while the Motoring Services award includes nominees in Woy Woy Powercraft Engineering and Woy Woy Wreckers.
Peninsula hairdressers Urchinesque in Ettalong Beach and An Obsession For Hair in Umina have each been accepted for the Best Hairdresser competition.
Winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony at Mingara Recreation Club on November 25.
