People less important than money
The Carr Labor government has turned around nearly every reform of the Wran Labor Government.
They are so pro-development, they should be called the Australian Developers Party.
It reminds me of a pro-development non-Labor government that allowed developers to build homes on flood plains, creek beds and under waterfalls.
Of course, councils refused these projects, but the government court upheld them.
Guess who had to pay the bill when these homes flooded: the ratepayer, naturally.
Same thing will happen when the foreshore developments get knocked over by a cyclone.
The ratepayer again.
Also, the government should bring their McMansion developments up to retirement village standard.
They should have a golf course, a swimming pool, a concert hall and a park with real trees in it.
But people are less important than money apparently.
