Junk band will perform

Mic Conway's Junk Band will be performing at the Troubadour Folk Club in January.

"The January 20 performance will feature the wonderful Mic Conway and the National Junk Band," said Troubadour publicity officer Ms Leila Desborough

"These 'virtuosos of the bizarre' create a live stage experience that must be seen and heard to be believed.

"The National Junk Band plays National guitars, ukuleles, a sousaphone, a phono-fiddle, garbage cans and metal sinks."

Tickets are $25 for general admission or $20 concession. There is also a special price for folk club members.
