Drummers play twice
Two performances were held at Woy Woy South Public School recently, involving 37 students playing the djembe, a west African drum.
The students were taught over 10 weeks by Drumbala members Katy and Keesha.
The performances took place on December 7 in front of the school and parents.
"It was full house for both sessions, with over 100 family members attending," said Katy.
"The kids worked so hard, including extra sessions."
