Council works
Gosford Council has detailed a list of projects it conducted last week, with several projects continuing this week.
Works took place at Woy Woy, Umina, St Huberts Island, Booker Bay, Patonga, Pretty Beach, Wagstaffe, Killcare Heights and Bensville.
Mains cleaning by air scouring is currently in progress in all streets from Woy Woy to Umina Beach and Booker Bay.
Works currently taking place at Booker Bay involve the pouring of footpath on Orange Grove Rd.
Works at Woy Woy involve the pouring of footpath on Ocean Beach Rd and the pouring of cycleway on The Boulevarde.
Lights are also currently being installed at the intersection of McMasters Rd and Ocean Beach Rd, Woy Woy.
Works at Umina involve the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Ocean Beach Rd and Wellington St, and the construction of kerb on Mt Ettalong Rd.
A boat ramp is currently being constructed at Pretty Beach, as well as a road crossing on Como Parade.
Works at Patonga involved the installation of a new playground and the removal of existing equipment at the caravan park.
Stage one has been completed with stage two commenced.
Playground equipment was also removed from the park on Solstice Ave and Attunga Ave, St Huberts Island, in preparation for a new playground.
At the intersection of Wards Hill Rd and The Scenic Rd, Killcare Heights, stormwater drainage is 80 per cent complete.
Stormwater drainage construction has commenced in Mulhall St, Wagstaffe.
Seats have been installed in Ben Davies Park, Bensville, along with the finishing of landscaping at the playground.
