Parenting workshop

A Living With Teens parenting workshop will be held on the Peninsula during Term 4, with a location yet to be decided.

The Living With Teens workshops are aimed at parents and carers, and provide information, support, and a chance to share experiences and successful strategies with other parents.

Some of the topics covered include normal development of teenagers, discipline (what works, what doesn't), self- esteem, communication, feelings, drugs and alcohol.

Groups are free, and will be run by UnitingCare Burnside for two hours over six weeks during the fourth school term.

Some courses are run in the evenings.
