Peninsula businesses named as awards finalists

More than 30 Peninsula businesses have been named as finalists in the Central Coast Local Business Awards.

Winners of all categories will be announced at a gala presentation evening on Monday November 30, 2020.

Peninsula restaurants nominated included Gusto's Italian Bistro and Safran at Ettalong Beach, KB Thai Woy Way, and Spices 29 Goan Indian Restaurant.

For beauty services, nominations included Koha Cosmetics Clinic and Umina's Morgan and Elwood.

Specialised businesses recognised for their community efforts this year were Mobility Hire and Sales Woy Woy, Ettalong Beach Premium Waterview Apartments, and Book Bazaar Umina.

Businesses excelling in the performing arts category included Naughty Noodle Fun Haus in Umina Beach, and Woy Woy's Dancinality.

In the new business category, Coastal Coupons and Kylie's Kandles and Homewares were also acknowledged.

For service and trade and sole operators, the Men on Wheels Removal service and Sal's Surf School Umina received finalist nominations.

Health improvement services like Robyn Collins and Vitality Therapies were selected, along with Woy Woy's Passion Hair and Beauty.

Woy Woy's Priceline Pharmacy, Bakers Delight, Edwards Family Butchery and Enchanted Flowers and Gifts were also chosen to be finalists in the awards.

In the professional services category, Books Alive Bookkeeping and Beachside Limousines were recognised.

Other Peninsula businesses credited in the awards include Naughty Noodle Fun Haus, Deep Water Publishing, Paws on the Coast for their pet care, and Raine and Home Peninsula Real Estate.
