Peninsula students dominate touch football selection
Peninsula students have dominated the selection for the Combined Brisbane Water and Southern Central Coast Boys and Girls Touch Football teams.
Trials for the team were open to all schools in the former Gosford Local Government Area and were held at Bill Sohier Park at Ourimbah on May 10.
Ten of the 13 students selected for the team are from Peninsula schools with Woy Woy, Umina, Pretty Beach and Empire Bay Public students all making the cut.
The selected students will now represent the Southern Central Coast Primary School Sports Association in the Sydney North Zone touch football trials in the coming weeks.
