Exemplary staff receive awards

Awards have been made to three exemplary employees of a local hospital.

Ms Tina Giles was named Nurse of the Year at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital.

Ms Haruko Eton was named Clinical Person of the Year and Ms Kerry Howie, Non-Clinical Person of the Year.

The awards celebrated "the hard work and dedication of staff ... who go above and beyond in their roles".

Each winner received a framed certificate, an orchid and a voucher.

The awards were followed by a team barbecue and the cutting of a celebratory cake.
