Where is our little lost dredge?

The farce of the emergency dredging of Ettalong Channel reminds me of an old nursery rhyme.

"Oh where oh where has our little dredge gone, oh where oh where can it be?"

This so called emergency dredging was to start on June 25 as announced by Member for Terrigal Mr Adam Crouch (Peninsula News edition 448).

As at the time of penning this letter, there is still no dredge to be seen.

It becomes very frustrating when you read that something is going to happen by a date and to see that nothing has happened two weeks past that date perplexes me.

Yes, they have delivered some dredge piping but nothing else.

I understand weather conditions play a part in this, but we haven't had any storm events of any magnitude.

I will be interested to see when this project will actually start but in the mean time I will keep a lookout for our lost dredge.
