Golf club donates $4000 to the Croft

Everglades Women's Golf Club has presented a cheque for $4000 to the club's 2018 charity, The Croft at Umina campus of Brisbane Water Secondary College.

"Included in this cheque was $3500 on behalf of our members and $500 from the Everglades Country Club," said club publicity officer Ms Carol Roope.

Deputy campus principal Mr Adam Montgomery and the Croft head teacher Mr Russell Garstang accepted the cheque.

The money raised will be used to build a covered outdoor learning area.
