Bridge club comes to end of year

The Brisbane Water Bridge Club has held its last two club championships for the year.

Both championships attracted a high standard of play, according to organisers, with the winners decided within the last few hands.

The Open Club Pairs Champions were Ms Gwen White and Mr Bob Morris.

Victory in the Championship qualifies them to compete in the State Championships.

The Novice Pairs Champions were Mr Laurie Powell and Ms Ann Snow.

This championship is designed to encourage the development and participation of newer players.
