Men's Shed offers student experience

The Men's Shed at Ettalong has offered to allow a number of Stage Three students from Ettalong Public School to visit their premises once a week to learn basic woodworking skills.

"I am thrilled with this offer and I am sure the children will be too when they complete their woodwork projects which are already being prepared by the volunteers at the Men's Shed," said acting principal, Ms Lynn Balfour.

"Working with community volunteers helps to develop social skills and an understanding of those around us," she said.
