Boarding house court fight cost council $183,000
The Land and Environment Court fight to stop the Ferry Rd boarding house development in Ettalong has cost the Gosford Council $183,275.
The expense was listed as a significant expenditure item for the 2015-16 financial year in the Land and Environment Court Appeals report presented to council on Friday, March 8.
The item represents over 60 per cent of Gosford Council's total expenditure on Land and Environment Court matters at the end of January.
Council won its bid to stop the Ferry Rd boarding house development.
