Empire Bay holds school disco

Empire Bay Public School P and C held its school disco on Monday, March 18, with the theme of Bold and Bright.

Many students embraced the theme, according to principal Mr Brad Lewis.

"DJ Andy once again led the three sessions and had each group on their feet with great music and enjoyable games," said Mr Lewis.

"Andy commented to me on a number of occasions saying how much he enjoyed coming to our school as the event was always well-run and the students were so well-behaved and enthusiastic.

"My thanks go to our very busy P and C who coordinated the evening and then volunteered to run the canteen and conduct the ticketing process.

"Their organisation contributes significantly to the success of these nights.

"I would also like to acknowledge the teachers who volunteered their time to stay back and assist with the supervision on the night, their willingness to extend their work day into the evening is much appreciated," said Mr Lewis.
